But this came to my mind first, and it appeared better. =P -+-+-+- Title: A Look at Nature He wondered briefly – a mere moment so it seemed, but perhaps longer – what life would have been like without her. Quickly, he pushed the thought away; he didn’t understand the peaceful and serene calm his heart felt when with her, and he was never one to do what he did not understand. Still, he watched her as she gaily laughed her way up the side of the shimmering waters, shoes nowhere to be found and hair all around. The sun was low off to the west, yet it still clung to her soft tendrils, slowly melting away. He hadn’t yet seen the stars above peeking out from underneath the sky, but he was certain that they instead, lived within her eyes. Never had he seen more intricate constellations. He wondered again, albeit unconsciously, how the glowing nature seemed to fit around her, or was it simply her fitting into nature? He had never encountered anything more natural. The very curve of her shoulder appeared so parallel to the bend of the water at her side, and it curved into her back, in lieu of the plains of the field. Her hair, though dark in description, captured the very rays of the earth’s own sun, and even the flowers looked as though they were bowing to her bare feet. And yes – he knew she had stars as eyes. Would that be all he’d ever hope to see of her? Only the blessings of that bend in the river, the soft plain of the field? A touch of pure ice touched his heart that moment, and he faltered. Suddenly, she turned and the constellations seemed all the clearer now. Her smile pinker than the rosiest petal one could find. Those same lips asked him, “Neji! What are you doing shuffling dirt along back there? Come walk with me!” And he did.
