She brought me peace.

Ironic, really, because I never saw myself not having it before she came. Hardly believable, really, because she caused me to run around and care more than I ever had. But on still evenings where there were no Hollows, no rush, no boundaries and doubts, I had obtained, once again, the peace I once shared with my mother.

My mind would never let me accept it as true, but somewhere deep in the depths on my heart I knew it was. She was the connection, the web, the thing that bound my few closer classmate friends together. She seemed average, and she really was only average, yet she was glue.

And maybe that’s why we’re going to go after her. I thought it had only been me, but I was wrong. With her leaving, she left so many people with concern. No matter how much she claimed she didn’t want it, we’re going to get her back. Not just for our sakes, but ultimately for hers.

The dead cannot cry out for justice; it is a duty of the living to do so for them.

That’s why I’m going to get Rukia back.
